Wattles Park Men's Club - 2009 Basketball Information
The Wattles Park Men's Club will conduct their annual Youth Basketball Program with games from January 3rd through February 14th, 2009. Signups will be conducted through the mail.
All games will be played at the WPMC's new indoor location -- the Battle Creek YMCA's Multi-Sports Complex. Games will be played on Saturdays from 9:00 A.M. to 4 P.M. Practice sessions for all teams will begin in mid-December at the Multi-Sports Complex.
All teams will be limited to ten (10) players. All players will play a minimum of one-half of each game, in keeping with the philosophy of the Wattles Park Men's Club. There will be seven basketball leagues this year
1st - 2nd Grade Girls' League
1st - 2nd Grade Boys' League
There will be up to 8 teams in the Girls' League. There will be up to 12 teams in the Boys' League. This league will use 9' baskets.
3rd - 4th Grade Girls' League

There will be up to 8 teams in the Girls' League and up to 12 teams in the Boys' League. This league will use the 9' baskets. l
5th - 6th Grade Girls' League
5th - 6th Grade Boys' League
There will be up to 8 teams in the Girls' League and up to 12 teams in the Boys' League. This league will use the regulation 10' baskets.
7th - 8th Grade Coed League
There will be up to 8 teams in the Coed League. NOTE: Boys and Girls that are currently playing on their school's interscholastic basketball team are ineligible to play in this league.
There is a signup fee of $50 for all participants. All participants will receive a "Peel-It Card" worth $15. You can sell the card or keep it and use the hundreds of dollars of discounts and bargains. By selling the card your signup fee will be $35 (same as last year). The "Peel-It Card" will be passed out at your practice.
